What is The Intrepid Traveler Affiliate Program?
As an affiliate of The Intrepid Traveler, you can participate in two terrific programs. You can promote our catalog of travel books and guides like Hidden Mickeys or Paris Movie Walks. Or you can promote our Home-Based Travel Agent Success Course offered at www.HomeTravelAgency.com. Better yet, you can promote both!

You refer visitors from your website or opt-in e-mail lists to our websites. In return, for every visitor you send to us who then purchases one of our books or courses, you receive a very generous commission.

How will you keep track of the orders coming from my site?
When you copy and paste our ads, banners, pictures, text, or free-report links into your website, a tracking "cookie" with your unique affiliate ID is attached. Then, when a visitor clicks on any of these links from your website, a cookie is placed on their computer. Finally, when the visitor completes a sale on our website, the cookie is read to determine which affiliate referred the customer — and you are credited accordingly. Our cookies last for life, to ensure you are credited for every sale you refer.

How will I know how many sales I’ve referred?
There are two ways you are notified of each sale you refer: (1) via e-mail and (2) via your personal affiliate page on our website. Every time you refer a sale, an e-mail will be sent to you. You can also log in to our site and check your statistics, all of which are displayed in real time. As well, you can run reports to find out which ads are generating click-throughs and sales, and which ones aren't.

How will my visitors order products/services?

We let our numbers do the talking. A good website has a conversation rate of 1% to 3%, meaning one to three out of every 100 visitors makes a purchase. We meet or exceed this rate. Considering that the average conversion is ONE SALE PER 720 VISITORS, you see how profitable this can be for you!

One thing to keep in mind is whom you are sending to our web site. If you have a website selling truck accessories, for example, and you are sending us customers, your untargeted referrals will most likely not produce a conversion ratio as high as a web site that sells, say, travel accessories or features information of interest to Disney fans.
