Hidden Mickeys Devotees Express Their Loyalty on FacebookFans of Steve Barrett can now follow his hunt for Hidden Mickeys(Orlando, FL) – If you like Hidden Mickeys be sure to “like” Steve Barrett’s new Facebook page, titled “Hidden Mickey Guy – Disney’s Hidden Mickey’s Hunter.” Barrett is best known as the author of the Hidden Mickeys book series: Hidden Mickeys: A Guide to Walt Disney World’s Best Kept Secrets; Disneyland’s Hidden Mickeys; and Hidden Mickeys Go to Sea. When not working as a physician in Florida, he searches out Hidden Mickeys throughout various Disney parks and resorts. Hidden Mickeys are elusive images of everyone’s favorite mouse that are hunted down by devotees of the game. Vickie Barrett, who is in charge of the Facebook venture, says she is focusing on pictures of Steve in the parks, pointing, of course, to Hidden Mickeys. Fans will be notified of upcoming appearances by Steve and they will be able to post photos of themselves with Hidden Mickeys. However they will be referred to the Hidden Mickeys website (www.HiddenMickeysGuide.com) to officially report submissions, which are then verified by Steve. Those submissions are duly noted whenever the Hidden Mickeys books are updated. For Walt Disney World’s Hidden Mickeys, that time is now! Steve extends his thanks to more than 1,000 fans who helped him track down hidden Mickeys for his just-published fifth edition. Fans are already taking advantage of “Hidden Mickey Guy – Disney’s Hidden Mickeys Hunter” by submitting their photos and comments. And, of course Steve’s journeys throughout Walt Disney World are well documented on the fan page. To become a fan, log in to your Facebook account and “Hidden Mickey Guy – Disney’s Hidden Mickeys Hunter,” then click “like” at the top of the page. More than 450 have done so already.
