Taking a Cinematic Walking Tour of Paris Just Got EasierNew iTunes app features four tours based on Paris Movie WalksA new iPhone app will take you on a series of four walks based on Paris Movie Walks: Ten Guide Tours of the City of Lights! Camera! Action! by Michael Schürmann. The app was created by My Tours and can be downloaded from iTunes for $5.99. Available in English, German, Romanian, Russian, and Spanish, the app is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 3.0 or later. You’ll take in a view of the city’s famous landmarks as seen through the lenses of filmmakers such as Francois Truffaut, Jean-Luc Goddard, Tim Burton, Robert Altman, Woody Allen, Louis Malle, Roman Polanski, Vincente Minnelli, Luis Burfuel and Jean-Pierre Melville. You'll see the doorways, stairways, and alleyways that turn Paris into a movie set 50 times a year. You’ll walk in the footsteps of cinematic greats such Fred Astaire and Audrey Hepburn (Funny Face), Debra Winger and Billy Crystal (Forget Paris) and Marlon Brando and Maria Schneider (Last Tango in Paris), cut to the chase with Matt Damon of the Bourne series and Jean-Paul Belmondo in Breathless, and laugh with Kevin Kline and Meg Ryan (French Kiss), Steve Martin (The Pink Panther) and Meryl Streep (The Devil Wears Prada).
